The non-provisional patent application has been filed. We are extremely pleased to be one step closer. It sure would be nice if the process to award the patent was only a couple weeks.

Everything continues to come together with all the pieces and parts that make up Oohly. A beautiful front end to the website is being matched with an equally impressive backend. Networks can easily manage their shows, vendors manage their products, and users manage all the fashion and products that they love in their favorite shows. Extremely exciting stuff and what is going to usher the new direction of TV. Commercial skipping devices are not the answer, a whole new advertising model is.
The website that we have created is focusing on informing everyone about what Oohly is and how to get involved with it. This is not the website that will house all our known products with amazing filtering capabilities. That will be rolled out with the inclusion of all the products from our partners shows.
The patent for our process has been filed. (Breathing easier now). It felt like that long forgotten feeling of turning in your thesis after months of fine tuning. Time for celebrating. Okay, celebrating is over, now back to work.
We just wrapped up shooting the commercial. Everything went extremely well and we were very impressed with the direction of Chad Bishoff at Syncretic Solutions as well as the cast and crew. A special thanks to Carole Zacek for some costume magic we know you will enjoy.
We are in talks with a producer to make an amazing video highlighting what you can do. The script is going after a concept that can be built out to a series of humorous characters. It isn’t as easy as sitting on the couch and saying “I could do better than that”. We are working hard and crossing everything possible on our body that we are getting it right.
We just solved another hurdle of database access that we were working. The patent application for our process is almost complete. Everyone is working their hardest to produce the best product possible.
The programming team is building some truly amazing stuff. The app will let you interact with the show you are watching. To be able to know what literally everything you are seeing is and where to buy it has never been done before. But wait there’s more. We have also been building a website that has full access to all the information too, but in a very different way. This will give the ability to see every dress we have in the database that a chosen actress has worn, or all the shirts an actor has worn on one episode, or all the furniture in the living room scene of your favorite show.
We want to start screaming from the rooftops what we are doing and how great it is. We have to constantly remind ourselves that slow and steady wins the race. When everything is complete a most compelling platform will be released.
