Everything continues to come together with all the pieces and parts that make up Oohly. A beautiful front end to the website is being matched with an equally impressive backend. Networks can easily manage their shows, vendors manage their products, and users manage all the fashion and products that they love in their favorite shows. Extremely exciting stuff and what is going to usher the new direction of TV. Commercial skipping devices are not the answer, a whole new advertising model is.

Syncretic Studios and Oohly team up to take the 33rd Annual Telly Awards

Syncretic Studios and Oohly, LLC Proudly announce – The Telly Awards has named Syncretic Studios as a Silver winner in the 33rd Annual Telly Awards for their video titled Oohly: Extra Gone Wild! For the teams that collaborated together to earn this recognition, the award is truly an honor.

The Telly Award was founded in 1979 and is the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, the finest video and film productions, and online commercials. “The Telly Awards has a mission to honor the very best in film and video,” said Linda Day, Executive Director of the Telly Awards. Winners represent the best work of the most respected advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators, and corporate video departments in the world.

Oohly instantly connects you with the products you see while watching TV and movies. The app enables second screen users (Smart Phone, Tablet, Mac/PC) to sync with what is being viewed on the television screen (first screen). The company provides a user the ability to pick any product that had been placed on set, at the time of content production: wardrobe, props, and set items. The product can then be researched, saved or purchased from online and local vendors directly from the app, without even pausing the show.

To show the viewer how Oohly works, Syncretic Solutions created a commercial, Extra Gone Wild! The one-minute production takes the viewer through one continuous traveling shot that opens inside a Spanish TV Soap Opera. Syncretic Studios utilized an “Extra” (The Oohly Man) who demonstrates and explains the convenience Oohly provides. The team finished the short production with a snapshot of the user purchasing, and receiving delivery of the product she purchased.

“It was exciting to work with such a ground breaking company. Oohly’s platform is exciting; which made creating and directing their visual world even more fulfilling,” said Chad Bishoff, Owner of Syncretic Studios. The companies also partnered with Teresa Seina, a writer/producer from Omaha, NE.

Leawood, KS, March 8, 2012. Oohly LLC announces today that it is entering discussions with major entertainment video content producers to provide its patent pending platform creating a direct simultaneous link between products displayed in entertainment video and internet retail conversion. Soon, television and movie viewers will select their favorite programs and movies on their television or computer… see clothing, accessories, furniture or other props worn or used by media personalities… click the remote or the mouse or touch the screen of their secondary device…and learn about or purchase the item without even pausing the program they are watching, if they so desire.

The Oohly platform keeps the value of program content with the content producers and does not fragment their markets. It addresses and resolves product placement issues, and it does not raise privacy concerns with individual users. Oohly will make the products placed or embedded in broadcast video entertainment media immediately and directly available to the viewer via the smart, or internet enabled television interface that is now increasingly coming into use. Vendor links will be accessible simultaneously during the program, in pause mode or while the program continues, directly from their web pages. A database of the products will be available for further research and commercial access. Entertainment is the business of content producers – Oohly makes retail research and conversion entertaining while keeping the marketing value of the content with the content producers. Access of the platform will be virtually cost free for content producers, and Oohly will provide tools to make it easy for them to collect, download, and transmit the necessary data to support the process and build the database, while eliminating any need to modify script, action or camera angles, thereby improving viewer experience and enjoyment. The content producers will experience no cannibalization of current broadcast product placement and conventional television advertising revenue. Finally, Oohly will provide a quasi-independent entity to establish and maintain disclosure, trust and transparency to ensure the continued effectiveness of the platform.

Oohly is the platform providing a direct simultaneous link between products displayed in entertainment video and internet retail conversion; and as such, represents the ultimate marketing opportunity for entertainment video content producers.

These include economic and currency conditions, continued availability of raw materials and energy, market demand, pricing, competitive and technological factors, and the availability of financing, among others.
